Overview

A Sturdy Solid Wood Bed 

The Amish Panel Bed is sleek and sturdy with three grooved panels on the headboard and footboard. It is handcrafted by experienced woodworkers in Lancaster, PA. This beautiful shaker style bed is available in your choice of maple, oak or cherry solid wood!

Expert Amish construction can be seen through the details of this solid wood bed. Mortise and tenon construction is used for the corners on this bed for added strength. The side rails are bolted together with a through bolt and barrel nut - also in place to ensure strength.

Information on Slats

Each bed has five slats - for the Queen and King size beds, there are two center support slats. The slats simply attach to the bottom of the side rails. There is a groove on each side of the side rails where you will place the slats for easy assembly. The five slats for this bed will provide you with a sturdy base to place your box spring and mattress on top of.
